Giving Up "Giving Up" for Lent

“I truly believe there can be tremendous spiritual growth during an intentional period of sacrifice and denial. But I wonder if this is always the best approach for teens.”

Rather than encouraging young people to give something up for Lent, perhaps we better serve them in encouraging them to more actively seek God.
