Jesus Movement Footprints Altar Frontal
Sometimes I wonder how I get myself into these situations. I am coordinating a collaborative project that will be given as a gift to Presiding Bishop Michael Curry when he comes to Pittsburgh in February for the first of a series of "revivals" in diocese around the country. So, the project is a celebration of his often-used phrase, "We are the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement." This to me suggests walking; and the gift is from the young people of the diocese. So, children walking. Children walking paint footprints down pieces of fabric. Fabric sewn together to make an altar frontal. Pictures and video to document the process. Me, running craft kits willy-nilly all over Southwestern PA. Me, hoping that my sewing skills will be up to par. I'll keep you posted.
