Stickers as Fine Art - Yayoi Kusama Exhibit
Rave, rave, rave!
Just attended this AMAZING exhibit at the Hirshorn Gallery in Washington, D.C., which featured giant pumpkins, infinity mirrors, and an interactive installation that let museum-goers decorate a white room with layers of colored dot stickers. Wouldn't it be totally cool to do something like this in a classroom or other space in church? Not sure of the theological rational for doing so, but give me time to think about it.
And infinity mirrors. Let's think about the theological implications of that. Provocative.
If you missed the show at the Hirshorn Gallery, know that the Mattress Factory in Pittsburgh has two infinity rooms as permanent installations. Come visit!
